Here is your rare opportunity to own a Beautifully redone 52' Steel hull Trawler. "Harradel" began life as a commercial fishing vessel in Port Colborne, Ontario and moved between Lakes Erie, Huron and Superior. In the late 70's she was rebuilt as a Trawler and then bought by her current owners in 1999 and was completely taken down to steel and renovated over the course of the following year. She had all New Wiring, New Fuel System, New Generator, A previously rebuilt Detroit Diesel 6-71NA, New Interior....you name it, it was new!!
There is so much history associated with this boat that you almost step back in time when you board her. The owners have done an excellent job of mixing her nautical past with all of the modern conveniences that you would hope to find on today's trawlers. There is a ton of documentation and pictures that take her back to her origin, even an article in Passagemaker magazine featuring this boat.

Accommodations
The forward stateroom features a large centerline bed with a hinged mattress to allow for easy access to storage underneath, there is also drawer storage and an extra deep hanging locker. The head is located in the forward stateroom and includes an electric toilet and shower stall. Up the spiral staircase from the forward stateroom you will find the pilot house. From the pilot house you have a great view from the many windows and two doors that access the port and starboard sidedecks, the helm is beautiful. There is a captain's chair and a companion seat with built-in storage. The salon is 3 steps down and is very much wide open, there are large windows all the way around for a great view. The salon also offers a hide-a-bed couch for visitors. The large cockpit and sundeck provide lots of room for comfortable entertaining or sun bathing. Snap on cushions on the sundeck and forward cabin give added seating outside.
The vintage interior look was maintained with tongue and groove beaded ceilings, cherry woodwork and jewel toned carpet and furniture. Halogen overhead lighting provides great visibility. You can definitely see that the owners put alot of thought into the remodel of this boat, making her very user friendly and appealing wherever you look.

The galley is a wrap-around design to port and features a built-in Marvel 8 cu.ft. refrigerator trimmed in cherry, Sharp microwave Convection oven, Kenyon 2 burner glass cooktop, a deep Kohler sink, Filtered water, Pressure water, Dockside water and of course storage throughout.
