Owned by one family since new. Ordered by a life-long sailor with multiple features you will not find on similar sized boats. Recent upgrades include the full Raymarine suite in 2011 with integrated autopilot, chart plotter at the helm and the chart table, HD radar, plus integrated wind, speed and depth. Icom VHF and SSB radios installed in 2003. New main electrical panel in 2003 with digital gages. Marine Air 16,000 BTU HVAC system. Bottom completely refinished in 2013 with new barrier coat and bottom paint. Included are a Trinka 8 dingy with sail, motor oars, dagerboard and rudder.

Shearwater has an open layout for the main salon, measuring 8 feet across and 12 ½ feet fore to aft, the space feels like a much larger boat. Ta-Yang craftsmanship is evident throughout with solid teak planking, teak & holly sole.
She has a U-shaped galley to port and a stand up chart table to starboard. The dinette table opens to allow seating for 8 including the Settee, and drops to make a double berth. The Settee pulls out to make a double berth. Drawers and cabinet’s outboard of the dinette and the settee provide tremendous space for storage.
The forward cabin has a large V-Berth with storage under. Two hanging lockers and a set of drawers are to Starboard with the head to Port. The Head includes a separate shower, an electric pump flush system and a large mirror in the vanity.

The U-shaped galley is aft to port and features a 2-burner Force 10 LPG gimbaled stove with oven, two standard propane tanks in cockpit locker; refrigeration and separate freezer with top and side loading box (using separate freezer and refrigerator 12V and separate keel coolers - systems install in progress), Double deep sink, Atwood 10.5 gallon hot water heater, pressurized water system with foot-pumps for both fresh & sea water.

Varnished wood bowsprit, with teak platform over. Twin bow rollers; Samson posts aft end of sprit, and saltwater washdown located behind the cockpit. Groundtackle includes: two 35 Lb. CQR plow anchors. The port anchor has about 20 feet of chain and 300 feet of line. The Starboard anchor has a manual windless and approximately 300 feet of chain.
Three deck prisms (galley, chart table, Head), double lifelines (24” high stanchions) with boarding gates port & starboard; teak butterfly hatch on deckhouse, Teak forward hatch.
