My first boating experience started many years ago with a Sunfish sailboat on an inland lake at a local resort when I was only eight years old. My love for boating and the water has only grown since that day.

I grew up in a large family on an asparagus farm and was recruited to pick asparagus at a very young age. After school I stayed in a farming-related industry, working for a local John Deere dealership as an agricultural technician — but I felt my talents could be better used in other fields. So off to other jobs I went, including excavating, demolition, and sales. I still wanted something more.

I found myself helping in the manufacturing and sales of the world's first interactive, portable flight simulator, now in many entertainment centers and museums around the country. After I sold my half of the business I was looking for something new, and a lifelong friend had the answer for me. The answer was selling boats. I started at Anchorage Yacht Sales in the summer of 2006 and haven't looked back.

I have been married to my wonderful wife Jennie since 1994, and we have two great boys — Isaac (born 2006) and Seth (born 2011). We've enjoyed boating in many places, including the Great Lakes and Caribbean waters.

Being in the yacht broker business, I know that honesty, integrity, and building relationships with my customers is the number one priority. I hope to see you and your family on the water.
