I grew up in Southwest Michigan on my family's 800 acre dairy farm, which is still owned and run by my mom, dad and 3 younger brothers. I stayed on the family farm through my high school years and learned a lot about life, dedication and hard work. I did not realize it then but that experience has helped shape who I am today, and I will be forever grateful for that opportunity.
I've always had a fascination with the water, be it fishing, boating or just being around it. I was fortunate enough to have a close friend who was involved in the boat business, and that is how I got my start almost 27 years ago. Since then I have worked for some large boat dealerships in Western Michigan and gained a lot of experience from it, but also learned that there were some areas in the brokerage industry that I thought I could improve on, which prompted me to start Anchorage Yacht Sales almost 23 years ago.
I have been happily married to my wife Nicole for 27 years and have 3 awesome boys ages 23, 20 and 16! I am happy to say that my wife and kids enjoy boating as much as I do which usually means that you can find us out on the Big Lake almost any weekend during the summer.
